Omnipod 5 is the first tubeless automated insulin delivery system integrated with Dexcom G6 CGM to manage blood sugar with no multiple daily injections, zero fingersticks and fully controlled by a compatible personal smartphone. Omnipod 5 consists of the tubeless and waterproof Pod, the Omnipod 5 app (available on Omnipod 5 G6 PDM), and Dexcom G6 CGM. The Pod is enhanced with OnTarget technology to continuously adjust insulin to a customizable glucose target to improve glucose control and simplify life with diabetes. This system is only compatible with Omnipod 5th Generation components. For the system to operate, a Dexcom G6 is also required.
